We have two types of classes.
Major course (Homerooms) and Trial classes.
The purpose of the Major course lesson is to teach the curriculum and help students develop good study habits.
The purpose of the Trial Class is to showcase our platform and sell our content. Teachers should strive to provide an enjoyable class experience and encourage all students to participate.
The Major courses are assigned 1 unit (9 classes) each time while Trial Class are assigned 1 class each time.
Although the Unit Completion fee does not apply to Trial classes, we do provide incentive pay for each successful conversion (i.e. trial student to paying customer)
Major classes are scheduled on Wednesday each week, and each homeroom is renewed every other week on Tuesdays.
Trial Classes scheduling is a little different from the major classes. We will lock your time slots based on your availability after the major course scheduling. Please see below, there will be a lock icon on the right of the green slots.
Lock slot definition: When your time slots got locked there will be a lock icon on the right of the green slots. The lock icons mean that a class has been scheduled for you, but the class has not been filled yet. This means that you will get paid for all of the green/locked classes appearing on your portal, as long as you show up on time. If there’s no class filled up for the locked slots, you will become a backup teacher which means you will be the first one to get a sub class during that time.
However, if you are not responding to our Skype call and did not show up to the after we schedule you a sub class, we will have to mark you as Teacher No Show, which we are sure you understand is very bad our company and for your track record. Hence, for all of those locked time periods, please remember stay beside of your computer, keep your PC open, turn on your camera and make sure that you are on our platform and logged in to Skype, so when we Skype call you for sub you can come to the class room in less than a minute.
